Camping in Washington State - Olympic National Park Lake Ozette
This State Park camping ground is right at the top of America...any further north and you would be in Canada!
Lake Ozette is a lovely peaceful camp ground set beside a large lake, with spacious grass campsites, fire pits and big picnic tables. Some of the campsites back on to the lake.
Lots of beautiful birds are around the lake, including Osprey (one flew past us and perched in a nearby tree just after we arrived) and Bald Eagles (saw 2 of these flying over the lake during our stay).
From the Ranger Station there are two 3 mile walks to some very wild beaches through a stunning forest.

There is a store (The Lost Resort) 1/4 mile from the camp ground, along the Hoko-Ozette Road (you pass it before you reach the camp ground) that sells firewood, ice and camping supplies. It also has showers, wifi, a deli and cabins/camping (for if the Lake Ozette campground is full).
Note: The toilet block is not in the campground. It’s a 5 minute walk down the road (next to the Ranger Station).
$12 (2 vehicles and 8 people) (50% off with a Golden Age/Golden Access seniors card)
All year (but it can get flooded in the winter which may cause it to close)
