WHAT MAKES IT REAL?

WILD AND FREE...

Eastern Outback Australia Camping New South Wales

UPDATE......THIS FREE CAMPING GROUND IS NOW CLOSED - more info

Free camping in a picturesque setting.

Dumaresq Dam is a simple camp ground next to a small lake. There is a neighbouring picnic area with picnic tables and BBQs, as well as a kids play area.

The toilet block is pretty run down, but it does function.

The covered picnic table area is useful (especially if it rains, which it did when we were here)

There is a nice walk around the lake and some good trout fishing to be had. We didn't do any fishing, but we did the walk. We were told about the fishing by a local, who comes up here for the trout.
